The 4th World Congress is rapidly approaching!

The special session categories are: Food technology (p1, p2, p3, p4, p5), environmental purposes (p6, p7), mechanistic aspects of electroporation including cellular effects (p8, p12, p13, p14, p15, p18), electroporation/PEF in the treatment of cancer (p17, p22, p23, p24, p25, p26, p29, p39), immunotherapy, immunogenic effects, gene therapy and antibody production (p9, p10, p11, p30, p31), veterinary oncology (p19, p20), cardiac ablation (p21, p28, p38) and development of novel equipment and techniques (p16, p34, p36). We have aimed to group special sessions thematically in the same part of the congress. New sessions have been introduced based on abstract submissions, including modeling (p35), models of in vitro electroporation (p37), pulsed electric field effects on neural tissues and the brain (p32), and imaging and treatment planning in clinical trials (p33).

The congress will start with an educational session giving a broad introduction to the field, from basic science to the broad scope of applications, linked here: Educational Session.

The daily plenary sessions are with internationally known key researchers, able to give both overview and future directions for the field. Please see the program here: Invited Speakers.

We have planned great networking opportunities including a welcome reception on a boat cruise in the harbor of Copenhagen (boarding a few steps from the congress venue). Lunch and poster sessions will have ample time for informal discussions and mutual inspiration. Coffee, tea and lunch is served in the foyer and exhibition area just outside the meeting rooms.

The  Congress Dinner will be held at the HC Andersen Castle centrally located and part of the Tivoli Gardens, and we hope to see many of you at this special event.

The 4th World Congress on Electroporation & Pulsed Electric Fields in Biology, Medicine, Food and Environmental Technologies to be held in Copenhagen, October 9-13, 2022 will continue to create an inspiring international and interdisciplinary forum for sharing novel and ground breaking research.

The Tivoli Congress Center, located right in the centre of Copenhagen, integrates lecture halls, poster presentation, exhibitions and coffee/lunching areas in order to maximize possibilities for fruitful scientific collaboration and discussion.
