P24 – Calcium Electroporation

During calcium electroporation supraphysiological doses of calcium are internalized by electroporation causing cell death via ATP depletion. In clinical studies calcium electroporation has been shown to be a safe and efficient novel anti-cancer treatment on cutaneous metastases and recurrent head and neck cancer, furthermore both clinical and preclinical data have indicated a systemic immune response induced by calcium electroporation.
