P15 – Nanosecond Pulse Stimulation and Electropermeabilization (MURI AFOSR)

This special session encompasses the fundamental research, engineering, and modeling towards targeted bio-stimulation with nanosecond pulsed electric fields (nsPEF). We will present and discuss the latest research on molecular and cellular mechanisms of diverse nsPEF effects, including cell membrane disruption and repair; response of ion channels and excitation; bipolar cancellation; pore opening, life cycle, and conductive properties; activation of signaling cascades and diverse cell functions.
